中国人ウェイターのほっぺた銃撃エフェクトは「ヒストリー・オブ・バイオレンス」でさらにバージョン・アップされているが、こっちはこっちですごい。
主人公が謀略にまきこまれてスパイめいたドタバタでひどいめにあうシリーズは、「スキャナーズ」(1981)から本格的にはじまった気がする。
