Chris Rodley監督の「Naked Making Lunch」がおもしろい。撮影前に没になった「トータル・リコール」と「裸のランチ」の物語上の共通項を指摘。主人公がアイデンティティに悩み火星へ・インターゾーンへ等々。たしかに射殺（！）後に主人公の旅路（妄想）が激しくなることもそうかもしれない。クローネンバーグ版「トータル・リコール」のラストは不明だが、「裸のランチ」に通じるなら、次の別世界へ（フォボスか？木星か？）旅立つラストになったかもしれない。

～話の大筋からいえば、「裸のランチ」もまたこれの変奏曲なのではないか説。
